Traffic Control (Book 7)

Every year, workers working on or close to public roads get hurt in traffic accidents. Employers have to make sure that they have got a solid traffic control plan to keep their workers safe from traffic when they are working on the construction projects, just like as Ontario regulations say a traffic plan that’s meant to keep everyone safe, including drivers and workers, needs to be thought out and created to keep everyone safe.

The Ontario Traffic Control Book 7 – Temporary Conditions got a fresh update in April 2022.

Momentum health and safety consulting training has got the latest updates to keep it fresh and relevant. Workers who have done this training before will need some extra training on the new updates that have been made.

    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for traffic control person
    • Traffic control devices organization
    • Communication method to be used in traffic control situations
    • Procedures and methods for construction work zone traffic control
    • Learn about where traffic control person is to stand in order to regulate traffic flow
    • Hand signals to be used by traffic control person
    • Safe set-up and take-down procedures
