Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention
The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) mandates employers to establish, apply, and sustain policies and programs that ensure the safety of workers from workplace violence and harassment (WVH). This course provides participants with the necessary skills to completely manage a Workplace Violence and Harassment Policy and Program.
This will make the participants become aware of their roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace violence and harassment and the manner in which they can collaborate with the internal teams for the purpose of WVH investigations.
During Workplace Violence and Harassment Training, we will go through the following topics and activities.
- Basics of workplace violence and harassment
- Factors and courses that may lead to violence, harassment (sexual) identification.
- Implement legislative obligations related to violence in the workplace and harassment.
- Employ tools and resources to carry out, or help, the investigations and the risk assessments.
